Rob Hendricksen and Marilee Ford, owners of Hendricksen Natürlich Flooring, Inc.

Hendricksen Natürlich Flooring, a Northern California retail source for natural flooring and window coverings and a flooring contracting business, was founded in 1989.

In 1976, shortly after moving to California from Ohio, Rob Hendricksen, the founder of Hendricksen Natürlich Flooring, Inc., began working in the flooring trade as an installer. Rob gained experience in installing all types of flooring in residential housing, commercial buildings and custom homes all over Northern California and Colorado.  

A co-founder of the Natural Building Network of Sonoma County, Rob is a nationally recognized expert in natural flooring products, and installation. He is a popular lecturer at the Sonoma State University Green Building Professional Certificate program and for audiences learning about green and sustainable building products. He is a consultant to architects, designers and builders seeking sustainable materials that are manufactured with respect for our environment.

The day-to-day life of Hendricksen Natürlich Flooring, Inc. is managed by Rob and Marilee, his wife. From the person who answers the phone to the person who nails down the last plank of your new floor, all of the staff believe in what they do, putting their hearts and almost 100 years of combined experience into making Hendricksen Natürlich Flooring, Inc. as good as it can be.

Natürlich Flooring, Inc. believes in supporting the local community.  Some of the local agencies to whom we have donated time and/or materials include:  Bodega Land Trust, Sonoma Land Trust, Community Action Partnership, Graton Day Labor Center, Santa Rosa Laguna Foundation and many local schools.
